Raiganj Institute of Inspiration and Empowerment for Livelihood Generation is the brainchild of Mr. Subir Roy who is a social activist and has a dedication to making India the best place to live in. With his visionary leadership, he established the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the heart of Kolkata, West Bengal, in 2012. Since its establishment, our NGO has been working to empower the lives of the rural population in India along with supporting the backward classes with training and new opportunities that will make the community self-depended.
At our NGO, we believe that everyone should be empowered and developed so that they are not dependent on others for earning their livelihoods. Hence, we train the community to make products and we sell them to customers. In this way, we act as a manufacturer, trader, supplier, and service provider from India.
At Raiganj Institute of Inspiration and Empowerment for Livelihood Generation, we think that real, long-lasting change comes from the bottom level. We are more than simply an NGO; we are an impetus for change. We are persistent in our dedication to elevating rural women and marginalized populations. We are planting the seeds of empowerment via education, skill-building, and community involvement.

Our Vision
We are a progressive NGO with a vision of helping the rural community to earn its own livelihood and be self-depended. For this, we strive to educate the backward community and help them with upskilling as well as community support.
Our Work
Being one of the most respected NGOs from Kolkata, India, it is our responsibility to promote the products that are made by the rural and/or backward communities. For this, we have developed a website. It allows us to reach distant buyers who wish to support the country and its rural culture. As an eminent NGO, the theme of our work can be described with the following points:
- Education: When it comes to empowering people, then education is the very first step. We have started a number of educational programs for underprivileged Indian citizens.
- Skill Development: It is the second step in empowering the rural class in the country. We organize workshops and vocational training classes that aim to make people self-reliant.
- Community Initiatives: Our work revolves around engaging with the local communities and uplifting their lives. Hence, we take various initiatives to support the communities.
